When you attempt to access a business file in QuickBooks, you may see the run-time QuickBooks error code 80070057 . In most cases, this error is caused by a problem communicating with a QuickBooks Company file on a networked computer (Server or Host).

You cannot delete or move the QuickBooks files from the given folder in case you do not have the rights. However, if you have access to read / write and delete / create QuickBooks Company files saved in a specified folder, you may use the QuickBooks program in a multi-user environment.
